Kay Kalousek

Kay Kalousek, DO, MS, AAHIVE, FACOFP is a Professor of Family Medicine at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (COMP), Western University of Health Sciences. She has held leadership roles including Dean of A.T. Still University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (2012-2015) and multiple Associate Dean positions at WesternU. She completed her D.O. at COMP (1989) and MSPHE in Health Professions Education (1994).

Her expertise spans HIV medicine, medical education innovation, and osteopathic clinical practices. She has conducted pioneering clinical trials for HIV treatments in the 1990s and authored influential articles on AIDS in women and STD epidemiology. Dr. Kalousek has received over 10 major awards including the 2015 Osteopathic Medical Educator of the Year and 1989 Delta Omega Award.
