Kay Cox is a Senior Honorary Research Fellow at the UWA Medical School, The University of Western Australia. Her research focuses on physical activity promotion, exercise interventions for aging populations, and dementia prevention. She has led/co-investigated multiple grants including the NHMRC-funded 'Dementia prevention and Risk Management Program for Aboriginal Australians (DAMPAA)' and studies on exercise impacts on cognitive decline. Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health equity and aging.
Research interests include exercise physiology, cardiovascular health, and culturally-informed healthcare solutions for Indigenous communities.
