Kawser Ahmed Shiblu is a Ph.D. student in Finance and Lecturer at the Mike Ilitch School of Business, Wayne State University, where he teaches Principles of International Finance. He holds a BBA and MBA in Finance from the University of Dhaka and an MS in Finance from the University of Tampa.

Shiblu's research bridges empirical corporate finance with cultural and social dynamics. His current focus includes:
- Impact of corporate culture on strategic alliances and equity market responses
- Role of social trust and networks in alliance formation
- Financial distress mitigation via dividend policy
- Corporate governance and market efficiency
His recent work explores the intersection of firm culture with CSR strategies, economic growth cycles, and social capital in alliance contexts. He has presented findings at Wayne State University's Finance Seminar Series (2025) and Doctoral Seminars (2024).
Scientific awards include the Thomas C. Rumble Fellowship (2025-26), Summer Research Grant (2024), and Beta Gamma Sigma (2018). Shiblu has taught Principles of International Finance since 2024.
