She is affiliated with the Human Systems Lab and Interactive Robotics Group, advised by Prof. Julie Shah and Prof. Dava Newman. Her research focuses on quantifying human state to improve psychological health and task performance in challenging operational environments, particularly through psychophysiological monitoring integrated into human-robot interactions for space exploration missions.
- Education
- PhD in Aerospace Engineering Sciences (Bioastronautics), University of Colorado Boulder
- MS in Aerospace Engineering Sciences (Bioastronautics), University of Colorado Boulder
- BS in Astrophysics, Rice University
Her work bridges aerospace engineering, psychology, and robotics to address challenges in long-duration crewed missions. Prior to MIT, she taught middle and high school math and physics at YES Prep Public Schools.
