Katrine Broch Hauge is an Associate Professor at the University of Oslo, affiliated with the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law and the Department of Energy and Resources Law. She specializes in energy law, climate law, environmental law, and natural resource management. Her research focuses on intersections between energy transitions, environmental protection, and legal frameworks for sustainable resource use.
Education: PhD in Law from University of Oslo (2015), focusing on expropriation law and water rights. Current teaching responsibilities include courses on real estate law, environmental law, resource management, and expropriation law. She oversees the 'Resource Management, Sustainability and Environment' profile in the Master of Law program.
Research interests emphasize legal challenges in renewable energy projects, climate policy implementation, and mineral resource governance.
