Katrina Robinson serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Law (Lawyering) at Cornell Law School, Cornell University, teaching Lawyering and Judicial Opinion Writing courses. Prior to her Cornell appointment, she taught legal research and writing at the University of Oregon School of Law and practiced law at international firms in San Francisco and Chicago, following judicial clerkships with the Honorable Manish Shah (U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois) and the Honorable Joel Flaum (U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit).
Her research expertise spans Legal Writing, Judicial Opinion Writing, and Artificial Intelligence applications in legal education, emphasizing rhetorical analysis and pedagogical innovation. Scholarly contributions appear in specialized journals including Legal Communication & Rhetoric, Perspectives: Teaching Legal Research and Writing, and The Second Draft, reflecting trends in technology-driven legal scholarship and writing instruction methodology.
