Dr. Katrina Calhoun is an Assistant Professor of Higher Education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, affiliated with the Department of Educational Policy, Research & Administration (EPRA). Her work focuses on systemic barriers faced by marginalized groups in academia, particularly Black mothers pursuing graduate education and the role of faith in navigating these challenges. She holds a Ph.D. in Student Affairs from Miami University, along with a M.S. from Miami University and a B.A. in Africana Studies from the University of Cincinnati.
