Katrin Scheinemann

Prof. Dr. med. Katrin Scheinemann is a Titular Professor of Clinical-Medical Sciences at the University of Lucerne's Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine. She serves as Division Head in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Kantonsspital Aarau and maintains an academic appointment as Associate Professor at McMaster University since 2013. Nationally, she is President of the Swiss Pediatric Oncology Group (SPOG) and Vice President of the Swiss Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology (SSPHO). Internationally, she chairs PanCare (Pan-European network for childhood cancer survivor care) and serves on SIOPE's board.

Her research focuses on survivorship and long-term follow-up care in pediatric oncology, leading the LACC (Life after Childhood Cancer) research group. She has published over 65 peer-reviewed manuscripts and edited two textbooks, supported by grants from public and private foundations.
