Katrin Baedorf

Apl. Professor Katrin Baedorf holds the position of Adjunct Professor at WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management, specializing in Finance and Accounting. She currently serves as the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA Program Director and has held various leadership roles, including Director of the Center of Private Banking/Asset and Wealth Management (2014–2018) and Director of the Dean’s Office (2018–2024). Her research focuses on performance measurement in private banking, behavioral finance, and wealth management, resulting in 10 dissertations, over 30 publications, and 40+ supervised theses.

Education: She earned degrees in economics and mathematics from the University of Bonn (2001) and completed her PhD in 2009 on “Performance Measurement of Client Portfolios in Private Banking.”

Teaching: She has taught courses such as Managerial Finance (Global Online MBA), Behavioral Finance (Master’s), and Foundations of Finance (Bachelor’s), emphasizing practical industry connections.
