Katja Teerds

Katja Teerds is an Associate Professor at Wageningen University in the Department of Human and Animal Physiology. Her research focuses on the interplay between reproductive physiology, metabolic health, and endocrinology in livestock animals, particularly pigs and rodents. She has led and co-led multiple PhD projects investigating follicular development, energy balance during lactation, and the impact of nutritional and hormonal factors on fertility.
