Prof. Katja Eilerts is a Professor in the Department of Primary Mathematics Education at Humboldt University of Berlin, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She leads the research group focusing on digital competencies of primary school teachers, pre-service and in-service teacher training, and innovative uses of digital media in mathematics education. Her work emphasizes integrating digital tools like makerspaces into primary mathematics instruction through initiatives such as the math.media.lab project.
