Katie Williams

Dr. Katie Williams is a Senior Lecturer in Business Information Systems at the University of Queensland's School of Business. Her work bridges academic research and industry practice, with a focus on AI governance, data governance, and their applications in the public sector. She teaches in the MBA and Master of Business Analytics programs and designs executive education courses.

Her research explores the intersection of AI governance and public sector innovation, including frameworks for ethical AI implementation and data-driven decision-making. Recent publications analyze healthcare data governance, AI's impact on public sector work redesign, and pedagogical strategies for executive education.
