Katie Horton

Katie Horton is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Counseling Department at Saybrook University. She holds a Master's in Counseling (2020) and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision (2024), both from Saybrook University. Her work focuses on LGBTQIA+ communities, particularly transgender individuals, emphasizing culturally responsive and humility-focused practices. She employs mixed methods research, including Q methodology, to explore therapist competencies for transgender communities and curriculum development in counselor education.
