Kathy Malas

Kathy Malas is the Director of the Health Innovation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hub at the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Montréal (CHUM), affiliated with Université de Montréal. She holds a bachelor's and master's in speech-language pathology from the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Medicine. Her career combines clinical research, healthcare management, and innovation leadership. She pioneered research linking language disorders to eating disorders in children and developed an AI-driven application for speech therapy assessment.
