Kathy Kessler Price is a Professor of Voice at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, where she teaches voice pedagogy, applied voice, and directs the Presser Voice Laboratory and the summer Westminster Voice Pedagogy Institute. Her career spans roles at Mississippi State University, The University of Kansas, William Jewell College, and Northern Virginia Community College.

Dr. Price's research focuses on lifespan vocal transitions, including menopausal and aging voice changes, voice assessment protocols, historical vocal pedagogy by female educators, and interdisciplinary voice rehabilitation. She has presented at major international conferences such as the Voice Foundation Symposiums and the International Physiology and Acoustics of Singing Conference.
Her scholarly work has been published in prestigious journals like the Journal of Research in Music Education and the NATS Journal of Singing. She co-authored The Anatomy of Tone and Intonational Solfege, contributing to the pedagogical resource The Voice Teacher’s Cookbook.
