Kathy High

Kathy High is Professor of Video and New Media at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, creating interdisciplinary works at the intersection of art, technology, and science. She co-directs the Thermal Methods Research Unit exploring instrumentation linking thermal analysis with mass spectrometry.

Research examines biological systems, animal sentience, and biotechnology ethics through installations, performances, and documentaries. Notable projects include 'Blood Wars' (white blood cell competitions testing immune responses) and 'Death Down Under' (documentary on green burials).
