Kathryn Winsted is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Director of the Center for Student Enterprise (CSE) at Pace University's Lubin School of Business. She oversees five student-run businesses on the Pleasantville campus, mentoring 70-80 students annually through hands-on entrepreneurial experiences.
- Education: PhD in Marketing from University of Colorado, Boulder; MPA in Public Administration from Harvard University; BBA in Economics from Middlebury College.
Her research focuses on service excellence, entrepreneurship, and high-engagement teaching practices. She has published in journals such as the Journal of Retailing, European Journal of Marketing, and Marketing Education Review, emphasizing case studies, pedagogical innovations, and digital marketing strategies.
Kathy has developed single-session micro-simulations for business education, integrated learning communities combining business and computer information systems, and teaches Digital Marketing with client-based projects. Her work bridges academic theory and practical application in student-led ventures.
The CSE under her leadership was recognized by the National Student-Run Business Association (SRBA) for its success in fostering student entrepreneurship, generating $650K annually through Lubin School of Business student-run enterprises.
