Bruce Bachenheimer is a Clinical Professor of Management at Pace University's Lubin School of Business, where he teaches entrepreneurship, management, and strategy courses. He previously served as Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship Lab (2011-2021) and founded initiatives including the Pace Pitch Contest and Veterans Entrepreneurship Boot Camp.
Education includes an MBA from Pace University and additional studies at Tsukuba National University (Japan) and New York University.
Research interests focus on scalable entrepreneurship models, crisis innovation, and technology commercialization. Recent work examines entrepreneurial responses during the COVID-19 pandemic and job creation through venture development.
Publications address entrepreneurship policy and economic competitiveness, with recent articles exploring pandemic-inspired innovation and venture scalability.
Bachenheimer dedicates 200+ hours annually to advisory roles for organizations including BioGenCell, Disruptive Technologists of NYC, and NSF I-Corps. He provides frequent expert commentary to media outlets including Forbes, Wall Street Journal, and Bloomberg.
