Kathryn Savage is an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD). Her work bridges environmental justice, feminist critiques of climate crises, and interdisciplinary collaborations. She holds MFAs from Bennington College and the University of Minnesota, alongside a BA from the New School University.
Research focuses on the porous boundary between self and environment, with notable publications like Groundglass: An Essay (Coffee House Press, 2022), recognized as a Best Environmental Book by EcoLit Books and a Yale Review Favorite Cultural Artifact. Her writing appears in venues including Orion Magazine, BOMB Magazine, and Guernica.
