Kathryn Moeller is Associate Professor at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Education and award-winning author of The Gender Effect: Capitalism, Feminism, and the Corporate Politics of Development. Her research examines capitalism's impact on education through feminist and political economic frameworks, focusing on corporate power, racial inequality, and transnational feminisms. As a 2024-25 Leverhulme Trust Research Fellow, she is developing the monograph Silicon Futures examining Silicon Valley's global influence on education.
Moeller coordinates the Transnational Anti-racism in Education Research and Exchange Programme with Brazilian universities. Her work has appeared in Feminist Studies, Educational Researcher, and Race, Ethnicity & Education, with public scholarship in The New Yorker and BBC programs. She teaches in the Knowledge, Power & Politics pathway and supervises doctoral research.
