Dr. Kathryn Magee Labelle (Dr. Katie) is a Full Professor at the University of Saskatchewan, specializing in the histories of the Wendat/Wyandot(te)/Huron nations across Turtle Island (North America). Her work explores intergenerational effects of colonial encounters on matricentric societies, Indigenous governance, resistance, and community-building strategies.
