Kathryn Anderson serves as a Research Law Librarian for Instructional Services at the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where she is a key member of the Law Library’s Public Services team. In this role, she provides expert legal research guidance and instructional support to law students, faculty, and staff, directly contributing to the academic mission through specialized research assistance and educational programming that enhances scholarly capabilities across the law school community.
Her research expertise centers on Legal Research, with focused exploration of Law Librarianship methodologies and Legal Information Systems infrastructure. She investigates evolving legal research technologies, database optimization, and pedagogical approaches for legal research instruction, aiming to strengthen information literacy and resource accessibility within legal education environments through evidence-based library science practices.
As an integral part of the Law Library’s Public Services team, Ms. Anderson collaborates on reference services, research consultation frameworks, and instructional session development.
