Kathryn Addicott

Dr Kathryn Addicott is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resources Management at the Cardiff School of Management, Cardiff Metropolitan University. She joined the institution in September 2009 and has served as the HR Field Group Chair since December 2019. Her career spans academic roles at the University of Glamorgan and Cardiff University, alongside eight years in voluntary sector management.

• Education: MBA (Distinction, University of Glamorgan, 1997), PGCE (PCET, Cardiff University, 2006), Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Social Research (Cardiff Metropolitan University, 2010)

Her research interests focus on human resources management, intergenerational practice, and applied social research, with expertise in workforce development and voluntary sector policy. She actively contributes to consultancy services through her role in the Wales Centre for Intergenerational Practice.
