Kathleen Shea is an Associate Professor of Environmental Humanities and Classics at Whitman College, currently serving as Chair of the Classics & Classical Studies department. She holds a Ph.D. from Rutgers University (2011). Her research focuses on the intersection of environmental humanities with classical studies, particularly specializing in the works of Ovid.
