Kathleen Neville, EdD, is an Associate Professor and Program Director for Educational Leadership at Springfield College. She holds a Doctor of Education from the University of Massachusetts at Boston (2011), a Master of Education from the University of Maine (1991), and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from the University of Maine (1986). With nearly 30 years of experience, her work focuses on leadership development, strategic planning, and fostering inclusive educational environments.
Her research interests include College Student Success, Experiences of Students of Color, Student-Faculty Interactions, and the role of Racial Identity in student experiences. She is certified to administer the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and Myers Briggs Typology Inventory (MBTI) and serves as an Executive Coach at William James College. She currently holds the role of ACPA Foundation Trustee (2023–2026).
Dr. Neville teaches courses such as Student Affairs Across the Spectrum, Higher Education Finance, and Special Topics in Educational Leadership. Her professional affiliations include the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE), American Educational Research Association (AERA), NASPA, and ACPA.
