Dr. Kathleen Kellett is an Associate Professor in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). She has been a member of the Yeates School of Graduate Studies since 2001 and participates in the M.A. in Immigration and Settlement Studies program. Her research focuses on Franco-Canadian minority literatures, particularly Franco-Ontarian literature and immigrant voices in Canadian literature, alongside feminist critical theory, narratology, and literary detective fiction.
Education: PhD and MA in French (University of Toronto), BA (Fraser University).
She publishes in journals such as Studies in Canadian Literature, Voix plurielles, and Québec Studies, analyzing works by authors like Anne Hébert, Louise Maheux-Forcier, and Chrystine Brouillet. Her expertise bridges literary analysis with cultural studies, emphasizing marginalized voices in Francophone and Canadian contexts.
