Kathleen Herbohn

Kathleen Herbohn is Professor of Financial Accounting at the University of Queensland Business School. She holds a PhD from the University of Adelaide and serves on the Academic Advisory Panel of the Australian Accounting Standards Board.

Her research examines corporate social responsibility reporting, with focus on climate change and tax transparency disclosures. She investigates how financial markets utilize non-traditional accounting information in assessing organizational performance and risk exposure.

Professor Herbohn has co-authored multiple editions of the 'Issues in Financial Accounting' textbook and developed frameworks for integrating sustainability metrics into financial analysis and credit risk assessment models.
