Kathleen Bartzen Culver is a Professor and Director of the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication, holding the James E. Burgess Chair in Journalism Ethics. She also directs the Center for Journalism Ethics and serves as visiting faculty at the Poynter Institute for Media Studies. Her work focuses on digital media ethics, emerging technologies (e.g., VR, drones), and the ethical implications of journalism’s evolving relationship with the public.
