Katherine Wilford

Katherine Wilford serves as Associate Professor in the Physical Therapy Program at Mary Baldwin University, joining the institution in August 2023 with over seven years of teaching experience and 14 years of clinical practice.

Her academic credentials include a BS from Colorado State University, DPT from Boston University, and ScD from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where her doctoral research investigated sociocultural influences on sensorimotor control.

Dr. Wilford's scholarly work centers on Sensorimotor Control, Sociocultural Factors in rehabilitation, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, and Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy, with additional expertise in Physical Therapy Education methodology. She has presented research on teaching techniques and musculoskeletal content at international conferences.
