Katherine S. Amey

Katherine S. Amey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography at Kent State University. With professional experience spanning the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Forest Service, and Battelle Institute, her expertise covers hydrogeology, environmental geology, and hazard management.

Teaching responsibilities include Environmental Earth Science, Natural Disasters and Society, Environmental Geology, and specialized courses like Geography of Wine. Her research addresses hydrological modeling, groundwater/surface water interactions, and environmental risk assessment.
