Katherine Rohrer

Katherine Rohrer is an Associate Professor of Voice at The Ohio State University, where she has been on faculty since 2013. A celebrated mezzo-soprano, she specializes in both traditional and contemporary operatic repertoire, noted for her vocal agility and dramatic performances. Her career includes roles such as Nicklausse/Muse in Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Marguerite in La Damnation de Faust, and Lady Macbeth in Bloch’s Macbeth. She has performed with major institutions including Glyndebourne, San Francisco Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Vlaamse Opera.
