Katherine Hurst

Katherine Hurst is a Researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), where she leads projects on novel materials for fuel cells, hydrogen storage, and photovoltaics. Her work focuses on synthesis and characterization of metal alloy/oxide nanoparticles and core-shell nanostructured materials. She previously held a postdoctoral appointment at NIST and a research fellowship at NREL.
