Katherine Harris is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at Beloit College, where she teaches calculus and algebra. She emphasizes student-centered learning and collaborates across departments. Her research focuses on hybrid symbolic-numeric algorithms for real algebraic geometry problems. She holds a BS from Bucknell University and both MS and PhD in Mathematics from North Carolina State University.
