Katherine Halopka-Ivery

Katherine Halopka-Ivery is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at Marquette University Law School and an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Wisconsin. She is actively engaged in criminal prosecution and legal education, specializing in trial advocacy and human trafficking.

Her primary professional focus lies in criminal law, with extensive experience in prosecuting firearms and drug trafficking, violent crimes, and human trafficking. She is a nationally recognized speaker on human trafficking and has conducted training for international criminal justice professionals from Mexico, Cambodia, Thailand, and Singapore, as well as for local law enforcement on trial practice and testimony procedures.

Katherine Halopka-Ivery was honored as an 'Up and Coming Lawyer' by the Wisconsin Law Journal in 2018, recognizing her contributions to the legal field.
