Katharine Sobota

Katharine Sobota is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Economics at Bowling Green State University (BGSU), part of the Schmidthorst College of Business. She has been affiliated with BGSU since 2007, progressing from Instructor to her current role. Her expertise focuses on pay equity and poverty policy. Sobota holds a B.A. in Economics from BGSU (2002), an M.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst (2007), and is ABD (All But Dissertation) for her Ph.D. in Economics from UMass-Amherst.

She teaches introductory economics courses and specialized classes like Labor Economics and Behavioral Economics.
