Katharina Loibl

Prof. Dr. Katharina Loibl is a full Professor (W3) for Interdisciplinary Teaching and Learning Research at the Institute of Psychology, University of Education Freiburg. She serves as the Executive Director of the Freiburg Advanced Center of Education (FACE) and co-founder of the Center of Interdisciplinary Research on Digital Education (CIRDE). Her research focuses on instructional design, learning from errors, problem-solving prior to instruction (PS-I), diagnostic reasoning in teachers, and Bayesian cognition in educational settings.
