Katharina Flicker

Katharina Flicker is a PreDoc Researcher and Associated Researcher at the Data Science - Insights for Society program (TU Wien) and SBA Research, respectively. She holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Data Science (TU Wien), Master of Arts in Social and Cultural Anthropology (University of Vienna), and a degree in Exhibition Theory and Practice (University of Applied Arts). Her work focuses on trust in data science, research infrastructure trustworthiness, and the cultural dimensions of scientific practice.

Her research intersects with the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) through multiple projects, including leading researcher engagement initiatives and contributing to strategic agendas. She has coordinated cross-institutional efforts to align Austrian research practices with European infrastructure goals, while exploring future research environments through collaborations with science fiction authors and Nobel laureates.
