Katharina Fellhofer

Katharina Fellhofer serves as a Teaching and Research Associate (prae-doc) at the Institute for Markets and Strategy, Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), where she contributes to both academic instruction and research initiatives.

Her educational foundation includes:

• Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Vienna (2019-2024)
• Bachelor of International Business Administration from WU (2019-2023)
• Master’s program in Business Economics at the University of Amsterdam (2024-2025)
• Master’s program in Psychology at the University of Vienna (currently on hold since 2024)

Her research critically examines human decision-making through the lens of Behavioral Economics and Experimental Economics, with particular emphasis on systemic disparities addressed in Economics of Inequality. This interdisciplinary work bridges psychological insights with economic modeling to investigate how cognitive biases and social contexts shape resource distribution and market behaviors.

As a pre-doctoral researcher actively developing her dissertation, Fellhofer engages in experimental design and data analysis while supporting graduate-level instruction. Her position integrates teaching responsibilities within WU's business curriculum with independent research under faculty supervision, reflecting her dual commitment to academic development and knowledge dissemination.
