Katerina Gonzalez, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at the Sawyer Business School, Suffolk University. She holds a PhD and MPhil in Business (Organizational Behavior) from The Graduate Center and Baruch College (CUNY), an MBA from Baruch College, and a BS in Economics and Marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Her research focuses on the psychology of organizational change, exploring how individuals and organizations navigate, initiate, and manage change. Key areas include employee responses to diversity initiatives, technological change, and the role of human-centric approaches in AI-driven change management. Methodologically, she employs quantitative techniques such as surveys, experiments, and meta-analyses.
Recent work includes examining DEI implementation strategies, the impact of AI on change management, and boundary-crossing behaviors in work-life contexts. She is Associate Editor for the *Journal of Applied Behavioral Science* and Methods Editor for the Campbell Collaboration’s Management and Business Coordinating Group.
Dr. Gonzalez has received the 2025 Dean’s Excellence Award for Research and multiple teaching grants. Her courses, such as *Innovative Teaming*, blend theory with practical applications in organizational behavior and entrepreneurship.
