Kate Piselli, PhD, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of School Psychology at Drexel University's School of Education, Department of Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum. She holds a PhD from Duquesne University, an MSEd from Duquesne, and a BA from Rollins College. Her research focuses on best practices in universal screening, cognitive/academic/social-emotional correlates, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) assessment within multitiered support systems. She led an IES-funded intervention study (TAPES) for anxious elementary students and specialized in ASD diagnosis in preschoolers at the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute. Her work bridges clinical psychology and educational practice.
Research emphasizes teacher-delivered interventions, early literacy assessment, and developmental behavioral evaluation. Recent publications address anxiety program efficacy, giftedness measurement, and literacy predictors.
