Kate Lewins is Professor at Murdoch University's School of Law and Criminology, specializing in maritime law, insurance, and emissions regulation. As Director of the International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot (2006–2022) and Academic Fellow at the National University of Singapore's Centre for Maritime Law, she teaches specialized courses in carriage of passengers by sea. Previously a senior associate at Phillips Fox, she practiced in marine insurance, admiralty, and transport law.
