Kate Hausbeck Korgan

Kate Hausbeck Korgan is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where she has been a faculty member since 1995. She currently serves as the Acting Executive Vice President and Provost, overseeing a leadership team that manages academic and student success, enrollment management, graduate education, teaching innovation, and global initiatives. She has held progressive administrative roles since 1998, including Dean of the Graduate College and Vice Provost for Graduate Education, and is recognized for her leadership in higher education through organizations like the Western Association of Graduate Schools and the Council of Graduate Schools.
