Kate Gledhill is a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy at Monash University. She holds professional qualifications in Occupational Therapy (La Trobe University), a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Promotion (Deakin University), and a Master of Public Health (Deakin University). Her PhD research focused on discharge planning, clinical reasoning, and shared decision-making in sub-acute healthcare. She holds an honorary position at Alfred Hospital.
Her expertise centers on health service research, discharge planning processes, and stakeholder perspectives in healthcare transitions. Key research interests include collaborative decision-making, equity in healthcare, and patient-centered approaches in rehabilitation settings. She has also investigated the impact of online learning modalities during the pandemic on occupational therapy students.
