Katarzyna Burdacka Walaszek

Katarzyna Burdacka Walaszek is an Assistant Professor and researcher at the Faculty of Tourism and Recreation, University of Physical Education in Krakow, Poland. She holds a bachelor's and master's degree in physiotherapy (2015-2017) and a bachelor's degree in cosmetology (2017), all from the same institution. Currently a doctoral student at the Faculty of Movement Rehabilitation, her expertise lies in orthopedic rehabilitation, postural defects, and wellness methodologies. She is also a certified Pilates instructor and Manual Therapist (German School).

Her research focuses on biomechanics, postural stability, and sports-related injuries, with 16 peer-reviewed publications including six in high-impact journals on the Philadelphia List. Key areas of study include postural assessments in adolescents, rehabilitation techniques for musculoskeletal conditions, and the efficacy of therapies like aromatherapy and speleotherapy in respiratory and dermatological conditions.

Burdacka Walaszek has actively participated in national and international conferences, presenting on topics ranging from volleyball-related postural stability to the therapeutic effects of salt mine environments. Her work bridges clinical practice and sports science, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to health and wellness.
