Katarina Grim is an Associate Professor in Social Work at Karlstad University, with a PhD in Care Science from Dalarna University (2019). She holds dual roles as Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor, focusing on recovery-oriented care and user participation in psychiatric and social psychiatric services. Her work emphasizes strength-based theories, empowerment, and participatory design, often involving both practitioners and service users in research processes.
