Katarina Doughty is a Lecturer in Aquaculture/Aquatech at the UWA School of Agriculture and Environment, The University of Western Australia. Her research focuses on sustainable food systems, particularly using black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) protein in aquaculture diets to address waste management and food security challenges. She holds a MSc and BSc Hons from Western University, specializing in salmon nutrition and crossbreeding impacts.
