Dr. Katarina Boland is a Researcher at the Institute of Computer Science at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf (HHU), affiliated with the Chairs of Computer Networks and Data & Knowledge Engineering since July 2023. She earned her doctorate in Computer Science from HHU in June 2023, following studies in Computational Linguistics with minors in Psychology and Computer Science at Ruprecht-Karls University Heidelberg.
- Current interdisciplinary projects: AI for All and NewOrder (studying the erosion of traditional knowledge structures in online discourse during crises).
Research Focus: Natural Language Processing (NLP) and AI-based methodologies tailored for social science applications.
