Dr. Kat Vylomova is a Lecturer at the School of Computing and Information Systems, University of Melbourne, with affiliations to the Complex Human Data Hub. Her research bridges computational linguistics and linguistic theory.

Research Focus: Computational analysis of language universals, morphology, and semantic change. She develops technologies for under-resourced languages while exploring cognitive and typological principles through statistical modeling.
