Kassandra Luciuk is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Dalhousie University. Her research focuses on Canadian history, migration and ethnicity, law and human rights, social and political movements, and the intersections of communism, anti-communism, and Ukrainian diaspora studies.
- Education: BA and MA from Queen's University, PhD from the University of Toronto.
Her recent work examines anti-communist violence in Cold War Canada, wartime internment policies, and the role of cultural activism in shaping political memory. She has received awards for her scholarship, including the Jean-Marie Fecteau Prize and recognition from the Canadian Committee on Migration, Ethnicity, and Transnationalism.
