Oxana Shevel is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Director of the International Relations program at Tufts University's School of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on the post-Soviet region, particularly Ukraine and Russia, addressing topics like nation-building, identity politics, citizenship policies, and memory politics. She holds a PhD from Harvard University, an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and a BA from Kyiv State University.
